Last week I read that this past Monday's sky was going to be beautiful. I decided I wanted to see it, but actually almost forgot about it. I got into tv and snack time and just never gave it another thought. Then I got up to go out and smoke a cigarette and as I walked past the window it caught my eye. It was beautiful. The sky was perfectly clear and the moon just a sliver with two amazingly bright ligts to the left of it. I went and got my Nikon binoculars tp get a better look. If I remember correctly the newsman said that what we were seeing was Venus and Mars. It certainly was a sight to see.
