Wow, our economy is certainly in a bad way. I, like most people, I guess, have been in denial. Now, all of a sudden all we hear about is the recession we are in. It's really starting to look like a depression to me. We bailed out major banks, now the auto industry is in trouble...this is scarey. My husband and I have decided that we need to look at taking things down a notch in our life. We have started by looking at decreasing what we spend on Christmas. We are also looking at every aspect of our daily lives. I think we are going to give up the cell phone in exchange for a toll free number at the house. We rarely call anyone, they always call us and use up our minutes. It's going to be strange to be out and about and not be able to call someone...but when I think about it...I've only had a cell phone for about ten years. I did just fine prior to that.
