Since the financial crisis there has been a lot of talk about edible landscape. I saw a woman the other day on television who said she had an appointment to talk to the White House to propose they turn their landscape into something edible. The very next day I saw that the First Lady was planting a garden. Apparently the lady on tv was a day late and a dollar short.
I do think its a good idea and I think I'm going to run with it. I am going to plant some vegetables, but what I really want is fruit. Upfront I'm thinking I'll plant some banana trees and some Blackberry plants. How cool will that be?
