When I first started out, I used plain whte paper and #2 pencils. I did pure pencil drawings. Then I began to add charcoal for a more dramatic effect. For several years, all I did was draw. I decided I needed to add color to my work so I am using watercolors and watercolor paper. Well, I was finally able to prime a canvas where I could use the watercolor on it. Now I am trying my hand at acryilics because I want to try to paint on tiles. I bought a small pack and I will try on paper before I actually paint on tile
